The third day of the 2026 NFL Draft is upon us. Saturday is always the day for connoisseurs and curiosities. Picks are made at various locations around the world and there are fun activities on stage. As usual, you won’t miss anything in the LIVETICKER at sport.de.
NFL Draft 2026: The 4th round in the LIVE TICKER
102. Buffalo Bills (via LVR): Jude Bowry – OT, Boston College
#101 – The pick is in
CB

101. Las Vegas Raiders (via TEN, BUF): Jermod McCoy – CB, Tennessee
This is McCoy! Leaving aside his knee, he still needs to hone his discipline to compete against the competition in the NFL, but he is an extremely responsive athlete with the spatial instincts and ball skills to force big plays in pass defense. He’s not the biggest, but he’s a really good athlete who accelerates well right from the start. He is also a strong punt returner.
+++ Trade! +++
Correction! It’s the Raiders’ turn as they trade the 102nd pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Buffalo for 101. Okay then.
6:03 p.m.: Buuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh! The Commissioner is here and Round 4 is underway. LFG! The Bills are on the clock!
5:55 p.m.: Today it will again be based on the rapid fire principle – it’s happening in no time and I don’t know if I can really do short analyzes of all the players, but you won’t miss a pick or a trade here! Except maybe Round 7, where there’s only four minutes between picks… but I’ll be high on caffeine by then, so that’ll be fine.
5:50 p.m.: It will be interesting today to see whether another German makes it straight into the league. I don’t expect it, but we saw some reaches in the first three rounds, so it can’t be ruled out. However, if it doesn’t work out, they at least have the chance to become undrafted free agents from Sunday, especially since they would have “free” spots in the offseason squad via the IPP.
5:45 p.m.: An important point to note today is that the talent level probably hasn’t been as low as it was this year. Former Packers VP Andrew Brandt has spoken about this with scouts who reference NIL. In other words: Players who would have simply been there in the past prefer to stay in college for another year because they will probably earn no less than they would with a four-year rookie NFL contract as Day 3 picks. A harsh reality for teams looking to complete their roster and find diamonds in the rough today.
5:40 p.m.: Back to Jermod McCoy again. The information that everyone has is this: The torn cruciate ligament has healed well and is not the problem. The problem is that a degenerative condition in the knee was treated with a “bone plug.” And doctors believe that this procedure will probably have to be repeated again in the future. If that were the case, he would be out for a whole year. And: If the operation was not successful, it would mean the end of his career. So it’s pretty easy to explain why no one used a pick on him in the first two days. But on Day 3, a top 10 talent should find a taker, right?
5:35 p.m.: And we are live! Let’s go to the final day of the 2026 NFL Draft!
Before starting: It starts today at 6 p.m. sharp.
Before starting: The big question heading into day three of the draft is who will ultimately secure cornerback Jermod McCoy from Tennessee. He was traded as a first-round pick and has been in free fall since Thursday. Apparently a torn cruciate ligament has not healed as planned and further surgery on the knee could be necessary. This has deterred all teams so far.
Before starting: Welcome to the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft! Things are going well again today and we won’t be given any time to breathe. Teams will trade, they will dig deep into their draft boards and certainly pull one or two talents that no one really expects.
Today we’re picking up the pace. Each team only has five minutes per pick in rounds 4 to 6. In round 7 there are only four minutes left to decide.
