The A12 near De Meern has been opened after the road was occupied by climate activists from XR earlier on Saturday. The police started the evacuation on Saturday afternoon around 1:45 p.m., during which activists and vehicles were removed from the road. The police intervention was completed around 3:35 p.m. and traffic was able to travel again on the A12 towards Arnhem.
