Eight changes at once: FC Bayern coach Vincent Kompany has changed his starting eleven across the board for the Bundesliga game against FSV Mainz 05. Only Konrad Laimer, Aleksandar Pavlović and Luis Díaz are still in the first eleven – the rest are resting for the Champions League semi-final at Paris St. Germain on Tuesday.
In midfield, 18-year-old Senegalese Bara Ndiaye makes his starting eleven debut. After two short appearances, he is on the pitch for the first time. Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala take their places on the bench. Manuel Neuer gets a break. Joshua Kimmich and Dayot Upamecano were not in the squad to manage the load.
The semi-final first leg of the Champions League at Paris St. Germain takes place on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Prime Video. At this point, the Munich team is already confirmed as champions.
