Mom Chris (64) lost her twin daughters Evi and Sarah (30) in one month: “They couldn’t live with each other, but they couldn’t live without each other”

The twin sisters Evi and Sarah (30) from Waregem were born 19 minutes apart. Thirty years later, they have now both died in just one month. Evi opted for euthanasia on February 6. Sarah died on March 7 from a severe seizure. “I was still grieving for one daughter, while I had to decide to stop ventilation for the other. Just unreal,” says their mother Chris (64).
