Landlord Marcel Melis loses case because of ‘Andrew Tate vibes’ from Volt councilor

Real estate entrepreneur Marcel Melis has lost his summary proceedings against Volt Nederland and Amsterdam councilor Juliet Broersen. The judge ruled that Broersen’s controversial statements, in which she stated that Melis evoked “Andrew Tate vibes” in her, fall within the freedom of expression.
