Larissa Mühlhaus is leaving Werder Bremen and moving to the Bundesliga on a free transfer. The national player brings strong numbers with her to her new club.

National player Larissa Mühlhaus is moving from Werder Bremen to Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer. The 23-year-old has signed a contract until June 30, 2029. The SGE announced this on Friday.

In the current season, the offensive player scored 12 goals and prepared 5 more – in 20 Bundesliga games. Mühlhaus commented on the change in Eintracht’s announcement: “I also found out about the club in advance from one or two of my teammates from the national team. It was clear to me that I wanted to take the next step after the season.”

The former Hamburg player has also recently drawn attention to herself in the DFB jersey. Last Sunday she was in the starting line-up for the first time in the 0-0 draw in the World Cup qualifiers in Austria – it was her third international match. On her debut in March, she scored directly as a substitute in the 5-0 win against Slovenia.

Bremen’s head coach Fritzy Kromp commented on the departure: “Larissa has developed from a talent to an exceptional player in Bremen and was able to make a significant contribution to the positive development of the Werder women. Based on her performances, we were all aware that it would be very difficult to keep her in Bremen beyond the summer.”
