A homage to All-American workwear and vintage vibes of the 70s and 80s: The ‘Graphic Tee Capsule’ for the 2026 summer season from FLORIS VAN BOMMEL: For its selected special editions, Floris repeatedly consciously breaks down the boundaries of classic shoe craftsmanship – this time with a ‘Graphic Tee Capsule’ that is just as independent, charming and style-conscious as the designs of the Dutch creative director Shoe factory.

The striking T-shirts make clear statements. Large, expressive back prints in vintage style cite the aesthetics of American workwear as well as iconic everyday culture: from gas station romance of the 70s to drive-in cinemas to the take-away pizzeria flair of the 80s. All graphics are linked by a storytelling around the product that has shaped the brand for nine generations: the shoe.

“All-American workwear really stimulates my imagination,” explains Floris. “I imagine neon signs, giant coffee mugs, drive-in cinemas and Mary-Lou-Anne getting ready for a night out. We wanted to capture that nostalgic, uncomplicated feeling and translate it stylistically into a fine t-shirt collection. As honest as possible!”

Because that’s exactly what it’s all about: authenticity instead of digital gimmicks. “The more digital everything becomes, the more I appreciate analogue. These shirts feel wonderfully analogue,” says Floris. “Everything doesn’t have to be ultra-modern. No Photoshop, no AI – just a strong motif, cleanly printed and off you go.”

The special pieces are made in Portugal from 100 percent compact cotton in high-quality single jersey quality. With a fabric weight of 172-180 g/m2, they offer the ideal balance: pleasantly soft to the touch, dimensionally stable and opaque. The modern regular fit, slightly extended sleeves and a sturdy collar ensure a contemporary, relaxed silhouette.

Subtle FvB branding details complete the design: a black logo label in the side seam and a soft vintage logo print in the neck area. The capsule includes a total of five motifs, implemented on elegant, ivory-white shirts – each of which is an independent statement with a narrative character.

The Floris van Bommel ‘Graphic Tee Capsule’ will be available from May 2026 at a price of 70 euros each and in sizes S to XXL in the German Floris van Bommel webshop – and, in a Floris-like manner, stands for a clear stance between authenticity, craftsmanship and summery attitude.
