A woman makes serious allegations against DJ Avaion – rape, assault, stalking. Avaion reacted briefly, and the music industry is drawing conclusions.
In an hour-long YouTube video and accompanying Instagram posts, a woman under the username “x.posemall” makes serious allegations against the DJ Avaion. She describes being “abused, raped, cheated and manipulated by platinum musician Avaion for half a decade.”
Your allegations
In a summary she lists what is said to have happened to her with him. She speaks of “repeated rape, multiple physical assaults, emotional violence/abuse, fraud/constructed lies, dozens of cheating/chatting, stalking, manipulation, threats/insults, insidious exploitation and invasion of privacy.”
According to her, she and Avaion were a couple as of 2021. She describes that he systematically made her dependent on him. He is also said to have beaten her – “so hard that my eardrum ruptured.”
In the video she refers to hundreds of materials displayed. These include chats, documents, statements and other content that are intended to support your presentation.
Avaion’s reaction
The accused himself made a brief statement in an Instagram story: “I am dismayed by the allegations made against me. The situation is very stressful for me. I am aware that many of you are expecting a statement. I will comment on the allegations, but ask for your understanding that I must first take legal action.” According to DJ Mag, he is expected to make a public statement this week.
Previous incidents and reactions from the environment
She also describes having contacted one of Avaion’s ex-partners. “She experienced similar intrusive behavior and reported him in 2018.” In addition, she describes: “In 2018, he admitted to deliberately acting in a hurtful and degrading manner and using this as a source for his music production.” According to her, he feels like he is “deified” and wants to “conquer the world with his music.” His environment also reflected this behavior.
“x.posemall” also describes multiple frauds – physical and through chat processes. Some of these conversations are said to have taken place with fans.
Stalking and psychological consequences
Attempts to break up or block him are said to have gone like this: “He stood at my door (3-4 times), called me on strange numbers, bombarded me with emails, fake chats, Paypal 1 cent messages or contacted my friends.”
The pain was great and hopeless for her. “I wrote my will twice and hurt myself or planned suicide attempts. In addition, I lost my ability to work as a result.”
This is happening now
“x.posemall” published the reports on April 22, 2026. The first reactions from the industry followed on the same day. The Vienna event series “cuteconcerts” expressed solidarity with “x.posemall”. She canceled a planned concert as part of Avaion’s tour on May 14th. In their announcement, they emphasized that they had not known anything about it at the time of booking: “If we had known about it, we would not have made this booking. We expressly condemn any form of violence.”
On the morning of April 23rd, the Electric Love Festival reported via Instagram. Avaion will no longer appear there.
When asked in the comment column, the Openbeatz Festival initially commented: “We are working hard to address the issue and have it legally examined. We will then act consistently and publish a statement.” This statement followed on April 23rd: “We have dealt in detail with the serious allegations and the published evidence. We have therefore decided to remove Avaion from the line-up with immediate effect. We will donate the remaining fee to @metoodjs.”
The festival also admitted its own mistake. The grievances were pointed out in a comment as early as 2025. The alleged perpetrator then reported and requested that the comment be deleted. “Due to our long-standing relationship, we believed that and didn’t question it any further. From today’s perspective, that was a big mistake.”
Reactions from the music scene
Also the artist BUNT. spoke up in an Instagram story: “We have now seen the video against Avaion. We are completely stunned and have taken immediate action.” He uninvited the DJ from his Salzburg show. He would like to have the credits from two joint songs removed. He ended all contact with him. He shows “full solidarity”.
