So that all of the Ärzte’s fans can afford tickets for their upcoming tour, the band is once again offering so-called social tickets. These discounted tickets are currently available for all of their gigs – except for the ones in Berlin, Vienna and Dortmund – for just 19.90 euros (as of April 22, 2026). For Zurich, 25 francs are due.
In order to get these tickets, however, social need must be proven. What does that mean? The doctors write: “A social ticket can be ordered by anyone who has appropriate proof of performance at the time of purchasing the ticket.”
Important for the order: Each person needs a valid proof of performance from the employment office or job center. “Unless several eligible people live in the same household and are listed on the same proof document. In this case, a common receipt is sufficient for everyone.”
Because there are no uniform requirements for proof of social assistance, different conditions apply to each city. They are all listed here:
The Doctors on Tour 2027 social tickets: payment and shipping
In order to get the social ticket(s), a scan of the document must be uploaded and submitted when ordering. It will be checked. If the green light is given, the tickets can then be purchased and will arrive by post. The social ticket can be paid for by credit card, advance payment/transfer, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Important: When you enter, proof of performance and your ID or passport must be brought along with your ticket for verification. “Each social ticket is personalized and is only valid upon presentation of ID and proof of performance,” it says on the doctors’ website.
Is there still a chance of getting regular tickets for the doctors?
For the doctors’ 32 concerts from April to June 2027, you could get eight tickets per order on the group’s website (four tickets for social tickets). Even if it is currently difficult to get tickets, the doctors warn: “Please DO NOT buy your tickets on platforms such as Viagogo, Ticketbande, Ticketrocket, eBay, classifieds and the like. These providers are not authorized by us and we do not supply them with tickets. They can therefore only be counterfeits or invalid tickets that do not grant you the right to attend the event, so you have to stay outside. There is also the risk of wasting your money on these overpriced tickets then not received back from the provider/seller.”
It is entirely possible that regular tickets will become available again at short notice in the next few days. This has to do with the fact that it was possible to pay in advance. In the excitement, some may have ordered something for several concerts at once. If some of the cards are returned, it is possible that they will end up in the sales section on the band’s website (without prior notice). In other words, fans should keep their eyes peeled right now! All happy owners of doctor tickets still need a little patience until they are delivered to their home.
