Marteria celebrates “Fortunately in the Future III” live in the Cologne club Bumann & Sohn – with world premieres and a book signing.

The Rostock rapper Marteria is causing a stir at short notice: the artist announced a free performance in Cologne with an Instagram video on the evening of April 21, 2026. The show is taking place today, April 22nd, at the Bumann & Sohn club in Ehrenfeld.

Spontaneous announcement via social media

“To all my Cologne residents: Watch out, tomorrow things will really go down in the city,” Marteria addresses directly to his community. Without much lead time, the news quickly spread across social networks and generated a great response.

The performance is not just a concert, but is designed as a release party for the new album “Zum Glück in die Zukunft III”. Fans can look forward to a live presentation of the new songs, which will be brought to the stage for the first time this evening. Marteria himself also announced “world premieres” in his video, which leaves room for speculation – previously unreleased tracks or special live arrangements are possible.

Admission begins at 6:30 p.m., the concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Due to the limited capacity of the location, high crowds can be expected. Arriving early is therefore advisable.

Focus on proximity to the fans

In addition to the musical performance, the main focus is on direct interaction with the fans. There will be the opportunity to purchase recordings and merchandise on site and have them signed afterwards. The merch is sold personally by Marteria.

With the free concert, Marteria wants to take a stand against the increasing commercialization of live events and at the same time create an exclusive experience for his fans. The combination of release party, live performance and personal exchange makes the evening a special event for fans.

It remains to be seen whether the announced “world premieres” actually indicate new musical directions or are intended as unique live moments. The album “Zum Glück in die Zukunft III” was released on April 17, 2026 and is part of a trilogy that accompanied Marteria over the last 16 years.
