Yvon Jaspers causes quite a bit of annoyance with her babbling in a Hans Anders commercial. She is paid from taxpayers’ money, but apparently her top salary at the NPO is not enough. “Greedy!”
The KRO-NCRV says it has given Yvon Jaspers permission for her lucrative gig at Hans Anders. She is now continuously seen in commercials for the optician and this is surprising, because that is not usual for stars of the public broadcaster. It was rumored for a while that she will no longer be on the payroll.
Greedy
Telegraaf media columnist Mark Koster thinks it’s crazy. “What’s going on with that woman, man? She earns more than enough money at KRO-NCRV? Is she that greedy?” he sneers in the podcast. The Media Week.
He continues: “Even if she is a freelancer, I find it a bit inappropriate that a woman who talks so highly about public broadcasting, all the values and this and that… This is a woman who talks about inclusion and is a neat left-wing yoghurt, but she is as greedy as anything! I find that a paradoxical feeling.”
Moral talk
Mark thinks Yvon should keep her mouth shut. “You have to keep those moral talks to yourself. Then I’ll take everything.”
Colleague Tina Nijkamp: “Yvon Jaspers loves money. We already knew that, because she also had that part-time job at ForFarmers, that feed company. I think she is really greedy.”
Make-up
What does Tina think of Yvon? “I think the most fascinating story about Yvon Jaspers, I have always found that, is about her hair breaking off during make-up. That was years ago. I worked at Shownieuws at the time, I think in 2003 or so. Then she got really angry, because a stylist once broke off a piece of hair with such a hair iron.”
“Then she really made such a fuss that it really made the Show News. By then she was already standing her ground and I already knew: this is not the ideal girl next door. She does have a different side.”
