Käärijä, who represented Finland at Eurovision in 2023, performed on Saturday morning Finnish time at one of the biggest festivals in the world. The wrapper visited Dutch artist Joost Klein’s festival gig in Coachella. They performed their joint song together Traffic.
The wrapper published Instagramon his account on Saturday, April 18, photos from the backstage of the Coachella festival. In the picture, Käärijä and Joost Klein posed for the camera with red mugs in their hands. The two held each other’s shoulders in the darkness of the evening. The wrapper also added a video of their performance to the publication.

Käärijä is not the first Finn to perform at the Coachella festival, although this is a rare situation. In 2024, the artist Joalin performed by Tiffany Tyson at a gig. In 2024, also a dancer Alex Komulainen worked as a background dancer at J Balvin’s festival gig.
