The clothing and sporting goods provider Reischmann GmbH & Co. KGaA is strengthening its management team. On Monday, the Ravensburg-based company announced that Anna Rusche would join the management team on July 1st. In the future, she will be responsible for sports purchasing, sales and marketing, the retailer explained.
According to her new employer, Rusche has “extensive experience in fashion and sports retail.” Over the course of her career, she has held various management positions at well-known industry companies. Most recently, she was Buying Director for Sport and Young Fashion at Düsseldorf-based clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg; before that, she served as Chief Merchandise Officer at SportScheck and as Head of Purchasing and Sales at Engelhorn.
With Rusche’s appointment, the family business is relying on a management trio from the summer. In addition to Wolfgang Reischmann, who is responsible for commercial matters, Martina Reischmann has also been a member of the management team since March. She is responsible for the areas of fashion & trend purchasing, sales and human resources management. The future constellation offers “a strong combination of external expertise and family continuity,” according to a statement.
