Four days before the start: Vicky’s ticket provider declares bankruptcy. The rapper fights, finds sponsors – and promises the best show she can. What applies now.
Bad news for Vicky fans: The rapper posted a video to Instagram on Monday night, April 13, to announce that there are issues with her upcoming When World Tour tour. The ticket provider Deluxeboxen GmbH, through which the shows were organized, informed you on Friday evening that it had filed for bankruptcy. The singer found out four days before the tour was supposed to start in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The start would have been on April 14th in Heidelberg.
The rapper and her team got together in a very short time and raised the money and two sponsors over the weekend in order to be able to play the tour as planned.
Who is Vicky?
The Viennese became known at the end of 2024 through popular TikTok videos for her song “T-shirt up, tits out”. The track was originally intended as a kind of Ikkimel parody, but then went viral overnight. She uses provocative feminist lyrics and a mix of ghetto techno and hyperpop.
Two tour stops will be canceled without replacement
For organizational reasons, two of the thirteen tour stops had to be cancelled. The first two cities, Heidelberg and Zurich, cannot be played as planned. The concert in Heidelberg would have taken place on April 14th. Tickets for the concert in Heidelberg are now also valid for the performance in Frankfurt. There is no substitute for the Swiss fans; But Vicky promises a show at a later date.
The other tour stops can take place thanks to two sponsors. It starts in Munich on Thursday, April 16th. However, the performances will not be as Vicky prepared them for the tour. She explained on Instagram: “This tour will not happen as planned, it’s not the same anymore.”
“I’m so sorry for you, for me and my team,” said the rapper in the video on social media. “I know what we had planned, I know how important it was for me to show you how I’ve grown even after this mixtape. And to give you back the biggest thing I can. For the money you pay and it’s just important to me to communicate openly to you that I can’t do this tour.”
The shows will take place in a not quite as spectacular setting. But she promises her fans “that I will put on the best show I can with every strength I have, even if there are no LEDs and different things in my stage design. But it just breaks my heart that it turned out this way.”
Fans react understandingly
The fans are sad, but understanding: “no matter how much light or show, when you’re there it’ll be awesome💗” and “you’ll still tear it up and it’ll be a great tour🫂❤️”.
The rapper is on her “world tour” throughout April. She will also play at several festivals in summer 2026, including Hurricane, Southside, splash!, Electric Love and Lollapalooza.
