The team from Amsterdam started the match well and took the lead. In the second half, DeetosSnel came alongside and the team from Dordrecht built up a lead. They managed to defend it and Blauw-Wit lost the match 20-18.
Since the founding of the Korfball League in 2005, Blauw-Wit has played at the highest level in the Netherlands. So that now comes to an end. “This is very hard for everyone, but extra hard for Jessica. She is an icon of the club,” said coach Dennis Doves.
