A moped rider was injured in a fall on the Blankensteinweg in Meppel. The driver probably swerved and ended up on the side of the road.
There he hit a concrete block. The man was therefore launched and landed hard in the ditch. Bystanders came to help and pulled the young man out of the water. He was taken to the hospital in Zwolle with injuries.
The moped was later removed from the water by family and the police and taken away.
