Prime Minister Jetten will pay an introductory visit to Prime Minister Starmer of the United Kingdom in London on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The visit focuses on the good bilateral ties between the two countries, including in the areas of international security, economy and energy.
During the meeting at 10 Downing Street, Prime Minister Jetten and Prime Minister Starmer will also discuss the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East. They will then take part in a round table discussion about energy with companies from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Prior to the meeting with Prime Minister Starmer, the Prime Minister will attend a drone demonstration and take part in a roundtable discussion on European cooperation with the think tanks Chatham House, Resolution Foundation and UK in a Changing Europe.
