Ski Association announced on Monday, that he will return as the head coach of the ski jumping national team Lauri Hakola. His team also includes Lasse Moilanen and women’s responsibility coach Ossi-Pekka Valta.
Everyone’s contracts are 2+2 years.
Hakola, 46, replaces someone who previously received departure passes in the role By Igor Medved.
Hakola has also worked as head coach in 2018–2020 and 2023–2024.
At the same time, the coaching model is renewed. In the future, men and women will train, camp and work at the competition locations together, says the Ski Federation.
The combined coaching team includes the head coach Antti Kuisma and coaches Christoph Eugen and Jari Hiekkavirta.
