MYKITA and RIMOWA stand for outstanding engineering and precise craftsmanship.
Following the successful launch of their partnership last year, the two companies present new models for the HERITAGE series for spring 2026, as well as a new campaign featuring two renowned German personalities: actress Nina Hoss and model Leon Dame, highlighting the discipline behind artistic expression and craftsmanship.
Connected by a shared commitment to innovation and iconic design, the partnership brings together the expertise of both companies in an eyewear collection based on lightness and durability. The eyewear collection was developed in close collaboration between the teams in Berlin and Cologne and handcrafted in the MYKITA HAUS in Berlin.
The new styles expand the collection with the color “Clay Green”, a tone-on-tone variant in matt khaki that is used in the hand-painted stainless steel frames and anodized aluminum rings of the models in the HERITAGE series. Combined with the “Raw Brown Gradient” lenses, the color palette gives the impression of a patinated surface that is still unmistakably contemporary.
Also new to the HERITAGE series is the MR006 model, a teardrop-shaped aviator silhouette. The new design complements the existing shapes from previous collections and underlines the iconic design language. The HERITAGE concept combines MYKITA’s characteristic stainless steel constructions with RIMOWA’s iconic aluminum in the form of rings. High-quality sunglasses lenses with 100% UV protection ensure excellent optical clarity, while innovative special coatings minimize reflections and ensure maximum durability.
Each model comes with a co-branded glasses case and cleaning cloth, as well as a certificate of authenticity attesting to the collection’s exceptional craftsmanship and high quality standards. The faces of the new campaign are Nina Hoss, known for her moving performances in film and theater, and Leon Dame, whose unique presence on the runway combines character and energy.
Both bring a way of working characterized by commitment and a distinctive personal expression – characteristics that reflect the partnership’s focus on technical precision and timeless design with a modern touch. The campaign takes place in a rehearsal room and playfully presents sunglasses as tools that shield emotions, create distance and enable private moments in public. Glasses become an essential part of the lived experience – functional objects that are also extensions of the self.
The models are available worldwide in MYKITA stores, selected RIMOWA stores, from exclusive optical partners and online.
