Prince Harry has been sued. The matter was reported by several media, among others BBC.
According to the BBC, court documents show that Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry in 2006, is suing him for defamation.
A spokesman for Sentebale, which supports South African youth, says the legal action stems from an alleged “negative media campaign”. They claim the media campaign has caused disruption and reputational damage to the charity and its management.
The other defendant in the lawsuit, in addition to Prince Harry, is a former Welsh Guards officer Mark Dyer. He has also previously worked in the organization.
The lawsuit was filed on March 24. According to the representative of Sentebale’s board, the court is required to intervene in the situation. According to the BBC, the charity is also demanding some kind of compensation.
The BBC could not reach Prince Harry or his representatives for comment.
Prince Harry resigned from the charity he founded in 2025. Harry got into a heated discussion with the rest of the organization’s management about the charity’s management.
