THEady Gaga and Doechii they were born for the runway. And they demonstrate it in the new single Runwaysone energetic and overtly fashionable dance track, chosen for the soundtrack of the film The Devil Wears Prada 2. The song is a concentration of rhythm and attitude, an invitation to express oneself and put oneself on stage. Doechii plays with irony and confidence, while Gaga adds her glam and theatrical touch. The result is an immediate refrain: the dance floor becomes a catwalk, every day of the week, to feel free, visible, protagonists.
A super team and a special understanding between Lady Gaga and Doechii
To sign Runways there is a team of hitmakers. Between them Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II and Jayda Love. A production – signed by Bruno Mars, Andrew Watt, Cirkut and D’Mile – which mixes pop, R&B and dance soundsperfect for the glamorous imagery of the film. The collaboration between Gaga and Doechii was not born by chance. In 2025, Doechii handed Gaga theInnovator Award to iHeartRadio Music Awardstelling how she had always felt different and represented by artists outside the box. A reciprocated feeling: a few months later, Gaga publicly praised Doechii’s expressive strength, underlining his authenticity and sensitivity. This is how their love began.
The return of a cult

And between fashion, ambition and new challenges, Lady Gaga will also make a brief appearance. “You’ll burn your tongue with this tea,” Lady Gaga warns in the song, as Doechii declares, “I got the front row screaming ‘Okay, okay’ / I’m taking a little spin / I’m letting everyone know I’m that girl.” And then, in perfect line with the film: “From Monday to Sunday, I can turn the dance floor into a catwalk”.
