Journalist Sean Ricks meets conspiracy theorist Milad Dehghani in Friday’s Friday documentary. Dehghan, who hosted the Leveli podcast, also works as the deputy representative of basic Finns in Vantaa.
Dehghan has been in the headlines for his connections with Milan Jaff, convicted of serious crimes.
Ricks finds a painting in Dehghan’s apartment, painted by Jaff. Dehghan says that he received messages from Jaffi from prison. Dehghan shared the posts on social media and Jaff sent him a board.
– Milan Jaff may not be the type you want to be mixed up with, Rick thinks in the documentary.
– Not really, but that’s how it goes, Dehghan answers.
In November 2025, it was reported that Jaffi and Dehghani were accused of serious crimes.
Dehghan talks about his charges in a documentary filmed at the end of the year.
– Suddenly, out of nowhere, a face in every media. And connected to the most hated man in Finland. That’s it. Political career, fame, everything, Dehghan tells Sean Ricks.
– I’m not interested in fame, money, power, nothing like that. I’m only interested in bringing out grievances and their consequences. The consequences that arise from it are worth it, he continues.

A couple of weeks after the interview with Ricks and Dehghan, the verdict came. Dehghan and Jaff were convicted of aggravated dissemination of information infringing on privacy and aggravated defamation in November 2025. Dehghan was sentenced to seven months’ probation.
The verdict just joined Dehghani’s popular Leveli podcast, which Jaff participated in by phone. During the interview, among other things, Jaff revealed the name of the victim of the sexual crime he committed. The court considered that the two had spoken disparagingly about the sexual crime accusations related to Jaffi.
Ricks interviewed Dehghan again after the sentencing in January 2026. Dehghan says he doesn’t feel he did anything wrong. He says he appealed his sentence.
