Talpa is cunningly trying to terminate Yvonne Coldeweijer’s contract now that her program De Juice is canceled for all kinds of reasons. The juice guzzler doesn’t want to know about that. She also says she is open to other work at John de Mol’s media company. For example, she says she would like to join Shownieuws or Today Inside.
Place at Show
Private boss Evert Santegoeds is happy to welcome her to Shownieuws. “I wouldn’t lie down for it, apart from whether it makes sense to lie down for it. I actually have to laugh at her,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private. “It would take some getting used to, but I can imagine something about it.”
The magazine maker, who once met Yvonne in a restaurant, continues: “I don’t know whether the makers of Shownieuws are waiting for Yvonne Coldeweijer. But now that they are in trouble with her… If the judge decides that she must continue to be paid, then I can imagine that she will get a place at the long table that we have nowadays.”
‘Come to the table!’
Yvonne dominated the entire opening of Shownieuws last night, namely with three topics: the relationship troubles of Jutta Leerdam that she revealed, her case against Talpa and her scoop on Yves Berendse’s relationship breakdown. “We talk about her so often, she better come and sit at the table here right away,” shouts Guido den Aantrekker.
Presenter Dyantha Brooks then responded Show news-desk: “We understand she is open to it.”
Guido: “She is open to it. Who knows, she may be here soon.”
“On your seat!”
There is no negative response from the Shownieuws desk. Sandra Schuurhof laughs: “On your chair then, right!”
“That’s all fine with me, man. Then I’ll do the dishes in the meantime!”, says Guido, referring to his earlier joke that Yvonne can also do the dishes in the Talpa canteen.
Not in VI
Yvonne doesn’t seem to be welcome in VI. “That’s what Angela de Jong wants, right? I read that in the AD. The AD media podcast came to the conclusion that this lady at the table would be very nice. Now I don’t know what you think about it…”, said Johan Derksen in the SBS 6 talk show.
Wilfred Genee then: “I don’t know her at all. I don’t know at all…”
Johan: “Neither do I, and I don’t want to get to know her, because I think juice is pernicious. That lady has discovered a revenue model by destroying families and destroying careers with gossip and hearsay, and she throws that into the publicity and that causes riots.”
Spotlights
Yet Johan does not seem to rule it out completely in his podcast: “I don’t think so, but of course I am not the entire program. I don’t know what other people think about it, but I think juice is pernicious. I think Boulevard and Shownieuws are possible, they put showbiz in the spotlight in a human way.”
He concludes: “By the way, the AD should not want to direct our program. Let them do their program and if they find that lady’s opinion interesting, then they should invite her. The initiative will not come from me.”
