The story between the two began about two years ago, but Blerta already knew both the prince and his ex-wife, Elia Zaharia, very well. Albanian singer and actress, with whom Leka had her only daughter, Princess Geraldina of Albania. Blerta, photographer specializing in weddingsi, had followed the wedding of the prince in 2016then becoming the family’s personal photographer for official portraits. It is precisely this professional bond that kickstarts their love story. After Leka’s separation in 2024their relationship consolidated until their official engagement.

The princess chose a royal look elegant and out of the ordinary for her marriage to Prince Leka of Albania. She gave up the classic tulle and lace wedding dress, opting instead for a sophisticated two-piece suit: one fitted jacket with high collarclosed with covered buttons and with tulip sleevescombined with one long mermaid skirt. On your feet décolleté with jeweled ankle strap and on the head a British style cap with net veil instead of the traditional tiara. The clean lines and minimal choices made the outfit refined, modern and suitable for a princess who focuses on discreet elegance and originality.
