On April 7, 1997, almost exactly 25 years ago, The Chemical Brothers from Manchester released their now legendary album DIG YOUR OWN HOLE. Nobody who went to clubs in the nineties, listened to relevant radio stations, watched music television or was interested in electronic music, techno or BigBeat in any way could have avoided his singles “Block Rockin’ Beats” and “Setting Sun”.

Now, for the anniversary, the Chemical Brothers announce a new edition: The 3 LP reissue is scheduled for release on July 29th. Part of it are the original album and five new tracks. You can hear one of them, “Elektrobank”, here and now.

Followed by previously unreleased recordings of “Cylinders” and alternative mixes of “It Doesn’t Matter”, “Where Do I Begin” and a version of “Don’t Stop The Rock” called “I Love Tekno”.

The Chemical Brothers are also currently working on the follow-up to their 2019 album NO GEOGRAPHY.
