The original Charlie’s Angels walked the red carpet – Here’s what they look like today

The trio posed for the cameras smiling. Jackson was dressed in black, while Smith and Ladd relied on pastels.

It’s been 50 years since the original Charlie’s Angels series. The action drama Charlie’s Angels told the story of three women who worked in the detective agency of millionaire Charles “Charlie” Townsend. Charlie’s face was not revealed in the series, but the women received orders from the millionaire over the phone.

The series was produced by Aaron Spelling. Smith was the only actor to appear in every season of the show.

Jackson, Smith and Ladd announced the reunion in January.

– Charlie’s Angels surprised everyone when Farrah [Fawcett]Jackie and I hit it off right from the start (thanks in part to Farrah’s iconic poster), and the pilot episode broke the glass ceiling, Jackson shared Peoplefor the magazine.

– In one night, we got something like rock stardom. When Cheryl joined in the second season, she added her special, unique element and the craziness continued, Jackson continued.

The trio has rarely been seen in public. According to Page Six, Jackson and Smith confronted each other over Smith’s son of Gaston Richmond at the wedding in 2023.

Several film versions of the Charlie’s Angels series have since been made. In the 2000s Charlie’s Angels movies, the trio was played by Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. In the 2019 film version, the angels were played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.
