A car parked on the Toldijk in Hoogeveen went up in flames last night. The car fire was discovered around midnight.
The fire brigade quickly brought the fire under control, but could not prevent the car from being completely destroyed by the fire.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause is not yet known. The police are investigating whether arson occurred.
