Rapper Kanye West or Ye is tearing Great Britain in half.
It was recently announced that West will be one of the headliners at London’s Wireless Festival. West is scheduled to take the stage in July. Some of the Brits are excited, because West hasn’t really toured in recent years. Some are furious.
A few hours after West’s name was announced, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer commented The Sun -magazine rapper attachment.
According to Starmer, it is very worrying that West is one of the headliners at the event.
– It is very worrying that Kanye West has been fixed as a performer at the event, given his previous anti-Semitic outings and glorification of Nazism.
– Anti-Semitism in all its forms is horrible. It must be resolutely opposed wherever it appears. Everyone has a responsibility to ensure that Britain is a place where Jews feel safe.
The main sponsor of the festival, Pepsi, withdrew from the event after West’s arrest.

In January, West apologized for his earlier “reckless” anti-Semitic comments and explained his behavior on the cover of the Wall Street Journal. He cited his bipolar disorder in the case.
West released a song last year Hi Hitlerin which he praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. He also described himself as a Nazi and sold t-shirts with the image of the swastika.
