‘Do I have to continue with this for another thirty years?’ Demand leads to a bra that doctors and hospitals are now embracing

Anita Schimmel from Amersfoort was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. When she finally gets through the arduous process of radiation and chemo, she suffers from painful, hard, red spots on the chest: lymphedema. She wants to get rid of that. Anita, together with two friends, develops a bra that soothes pain and reduces complaints, now available to thousands of fellow sufferers. “It dominated my life.”
