Chelsea won 7-0 against 3rd league representative Port Vale and moved on to the semi-finals. The goals that brought the victory to the home team were scored by Jorrel Hato, Joao Pedro, Jordan Gabriel (own goal), Tosin Adarabioyo, Andrey Santos, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho.
Southampton, competing in the Championship, beat Premier League leader Arsenal 2-1 at home and pushed them out of the cup. Goals from Ross Stewart and Shea Charles brought Southampton a ticket to the semi-finals. Viktor Gyökeres’ goal could not prevent the defeat for the guest team.
The last semi-finalist in the cup will be the winner of today’s match between West Ham United and Leeds United.
