Hertha BSC wins a heated game against Dynamo Dresden. However, sport takes a back seat early on.
Thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 away win against Dynamo Dresden, Hertha BSC still has good opportunities to be fully involved in the promotion race in the 2nd Bundesliga. The gap to second place is only four points with six game days to go.
Dresden’s Alexander Rossipal scored in his own goal in the 80th minute after Hertha’s goalkeeper Tjark Ernst saved a penalty from Dynamos Vincent Vermeij just three minutes earlier (77′). In the 66th minute, Hertha striker Josip Brekalo was shown a red card after a serious foul.
