The future of BVB striker Serhou Guirassy has been uncertain for months. Now he has apparently made a decision.

At Borussia Dortmund, the course is being set for the future. Nils-Ole Book has replaced Sebastian Kehl in the sporting leadership, and Julian Brandt and Niklas Süle, among others, are saying goodbye to the squad in the summer. There is now apparently a decision for striker Serhou Guirassy.

As the “Bild” newspaper reports, Guirassy plans to leave the Bundesliga club after the season. The only prerequisite for this is a suitable offer. The attacker has been thinking about a possible change for a long time.

In the background, his brother and advisor Karamba is already exploring the market. Fenerbahçe, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and clubs from Saudi Arabia are said to be interested. However, there have been no concrete developments so far.

For BVB, the situation is also complicated from a contractual perspective. Guirassy’s contract runs until 2028, but contains a release clause of 35 million euros. This only takes effect from July. Until then, the transfer fee can be freely negotiated, which makes planning more difficult.

Preparations for a possible farewell are already underway in Dortmund. Several possible successors are being traded with Fisnik Asllani from TSG Hoffenheim, Bendegúz Kovács from AZ Alkmaar, Armando González from Deportivo Guadalajara and Nicolò Tresoldi from FC Brugge.
