Cris, Paula and Elena are three sisters who meet one summer in the Dominican Republic; Cris runs an animal shelter and the other two went to visit her for a short vacation. One night, Elena calls the two sisters in fear asking for help and when they arrive they discover that she has hit a man with his car, killing him.

For the girls the dilemma arises: tell the truth, producing consequences in the life of Elena (who is the mother of a little girl) or work to hide, conceal, deny.

That nighta six-episode Spanish thriller that quickly became one of the most watched series on the Netflix service in Italyis based on the novel by Gillian McAllister and presents a narrative structure dear to many contemporary series in which the component thriller mixes with that of the “whodunit” (investigate a story to find out how it really happened): the story, in fact, is repeated several times and from multiple points of view, continually questioning what was thought to be taken for granted.

That night it is a series that does not shine for writing, but attracts precisely because of a structure bent on the “blackmail” of wanting to get to the truth at all costs.
