At least seven fertility centers in Belgium exceeded the limit of six families per donor: “Not on purpose”

At least seven Belgian fertility centers have exceeded the legal limit of six families per sperm donor within their own hospitals. This is evident from figures that VRT NWS requested from the federal medicines agency FAMHP. The agency has also submitted several reports to the public prosecutor’s office. “We would like to emphasize that the law was not consciously or deliberately violated in the past,” the fertility centers respond.
