The Passion went well, says Marieke Schütten spokesperson for the municipality of Westerveld. The exodus has started and that is causing traffic jams in and around Dwingeloo. In total, around 6,000 people came to the village to attend the event. Read below how today’s event went in the village.
Dwingeloo is preparing for The Passion, the musical Easter story that can be seen in the village tonight. The municipality of Westerveld expects that the event area on the Kleine Brink will fill up with around 5,000 visitors tonight.
In the run-up to the Easter story on Maundy Thursday, there was a friendly atmosphere in the village center. Until today at 12 noon, when the site closed, many people took a look at the square. “I’ll just cycle by now, because I’ll be sitting in front of the television during the live show,” he said.
