German police keep a close eye on ‘Timmy”s last breath, but death throes of stranded humpback whale still spark protest

There is virtually no hope left for the humpback whale that has become stuck in the German Baltic Sea. The police guard the area around the animal so that it can die in peace. About fifty demonstrators went to the Bay of Wismar to argue for extra efforts to save the whale.
