D66 faction leader Paternotte defends Minister Sjoerdsma: ‘I don’t understand PN’

Jan Paternotte, party leader of D66, is at Pauw & De Wit to discuss the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. This concerns in particular the issue surrounding UNRWA. The responsible minister Sjoerd Sjoerdsma had previously guided the budget through the House of Representatives, only to later allocate an additional eight million to UNRWA. That did not go down well with the opposition. Paternotte does not understand PN’s attitude.
