The final line-up for the sister festivals has been determined. Scene Queen, Rikas and The Sophs have now also been confirmed.
There is further growth for the Hurricane and Southside Festival. The highlight acts including Twenty One Pilots, Billy Talent, Kraftklub, Yungblud, Florence + The Machine, Halsey and The Offspring will be joined by six further acts.
This means that the line-up is complete except for the winning acts of the festival’s own “Gamechanger” contest.
Hurricane and Southside 2026: New acts
Scene Queen combines metalcore with feminist themes. Rikas combines pop with influences from funk and soul. The Sophs from Los Angeles recently impressed with their debut album GOLDSTAR. Newcomer Raynor from Peterborough near London has modeled his music on Michael Jackson, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead. Blackgold, also from the UK, prefer the nu-metal card with heavy guitars and hip-hop beats.
Tusker only plays on the Southside, joining the line-up via radio partner DASDING. He shows how dancing can be done despite or because of heartbreak.
At Hurricane, two live podcasts are also causing a stir: In “Deutschland3000”, Eva Schulz talks to people about pop and politics every two weeks. She will speak to a surprise guest on site. “Der Spiegel live” will be there again with several secret participants.
Acts at the warm-up parties
The program for the warm-up parties has now also been decided: Disarstar, Juli, Paula Carolina, Herrenmagazin and the Hansegirls will be performing at Hurricane. At Southside there are Moop Mama, Majan, Mola, Hi! Spencer and BrassPalast on stage.
