An explosive device was thrown into a company on Provincialeweg in Veldhoven on Thursday morning. The explosion blew out a large window from the building and started a fire in the building.
The fire brigade responded around five o’clock on Thursday morning to a report of an industrial fire.
When the fire brigade extinguished the fire, a stone was found in the building. This probably destroyed the window, after which an explosive was thrown inside.
Sprayed black letters
The explosion caused a large window to blow out of its frame up to ten meters away.
Black letters have been sprayed on the ground in front of the business premises, the text is illegible. It is not known whether this text has anything to do with the explosion.
The owner does not want to say anything about what happened in his business premises. The police are conducting an extensive investigation into what happened.
