“Last night, after the match, I cried. I cried for the disappointment of not having been able to bring Italy to where it deserves to be. I cried for the enormous sadness that I am feeling, together with the entire Italian team of which I am proud to be captain, and which I know, at this moment, you, fans of our national team, are also feeling – Gigio wrote on his profile -. Now words are of little use, it’s true. But I feel one thing strongly inside and I want to share it with you: after such a huge disappointment, we need to find the courage to move on, once again. And to do so, we need to always believe in ourselves, this is the driving force behind getting Italy back to where it deserves to be.
