The Portuguese spoke to the sports section of the New York Times, also recalling what happened during his time with the Nerazzurri
Sergio Conceicao, former Milan coach, but also former Inter player, gave an interesting interview to The Athletic. The Portuguese spoke together with his son Francisco, a Juventus winger. Space for questions of all kinds, including one that inevitably brings up Conceicao’s Nerazzurri past:
“The most difficult moments of my career? The disappointment of having lost a scudetto and for those matches that meant we missed out on titles. I remember a great sense of sadness on that famous 5 May 2002 with Inter. I think that was the most difficult moment: we had been leading the whole championship – I had also had some injuries – but we were a great team and we lost the last match against Lazio, leaving the scudetto to Juventus.
