NoThey don’t go unnoticed. And not just because of the noise of the wearer. The Spring-Summer 2026 clogs they can also be recognized with their eyes closed, or rather: by ear. That clap clap that accompanies every step has returned to be heard, signaling the return of one of the most divisive shoes (and today most desired) of the season, in a very specific version.
A design that combines two trajectories of recent fashion: on the one hand mules with wooden heelsdirect legacy of the aesthetics of the 70s; on the other the studs, protagonists of accessories in recent months. The result? Studded clogsthat is, the model that more than anyone else is defining the trend of the moment.
New sounds on the catwalk
Before being spotted on the feet of stars, studded clogs started making waves on the catwalk. This is where their new identity took shape, definitively moving away from the most functional imagery to enter the much more sophisticated world of contemporary fashion. They were spotted by Shop Venetian in a sculptural and tapered key, from Zimmermann they are platform and with western buckle while Versace And Simone Rocha they pushed the ornamental aspect, including rivets, pearls and bright applications. The result is a clear convergence: lo clog is no longer a nostalgic quote from the 70s. But, thanks above all to the studs, a piece with a high visual impact to include in your Spring-Summer 2026 wardrobe.

Studded clogs: the celebrities who have already chosen them
Among the first to intercept the return of the clogs is Anne Hathaway, spotted in Milan with a couple of platform clogs paired with flare jeans and a leopard print coat, in a look ready to be replicated. But it is not an isolated case. From Lily Rose Depp, which interprets them in a casual way with essential looks, up to Jennifer Lawrence, which includes them in everyday and relaxed outfits, with tracksuit trousers and pullovers, clogs once again become a credible choice even off the catwalks. What until recently might have seemed like a gamble is now a trend.

How the trend unfolds (and which models to choose)
If the catwalk defined its language, it is in shopping that the trend really takes shapemultiplying in different interpretations, more or less faithful to the original spirit. There are cleaner, almost minimal models, like the smooth leather clogs butter color or black with micro studs along the edge, perfect for those who want to get closer to the trend without upsetting their style. Then there are the more declared versions, with wooden sole important and structured upper, often enriched with oversized buckles or metal details.
There is no shortage of softer declinations, in suede or suede, which shifts the center of gravity towards a more boho imageryas well as the platform variants, decidedly more fashionable, designed for those looking for momentum and presence. And again, the more hybrid reinterpretations: elegant evening mules or models with a back strap that make them more stable and everyday.
The common thread always remains the same: the studwhich from a simple detail becomes a distinctive sign. Small or oversized, golden or pearl effect, it transforms even the most essential model into a recognizable accessory.
