Norwegian Alexander Rybak, 39, won the Eurovision Song Contest Fairy talewith his song in 2009 in Moscow. On Thursday of last week, he ended his short tour of Finland on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi in ​​Teisko.

Stress and anxiety explained

Rybak won the fives in 2009. In the same year, he started having trouble sleeping.

He suffered eleven years from sleep and antidepressant addiction, which he shared on social media after starting rehab in 2020.

Today, the problems have been overcome. Rybak goes outside a lot and starts every morning with a run.

– I get strength from nature, he says briefly.

Rybak lives in Oslo. In addition to gigging, he also completed film and music studies in the USA, when he lived on the other side of the country.

The past year has been difficult for the artist. There are 36 small-scale concerts held in different parts of Europe, the last of which was just in Teiska. He also gave fifty Christmas concerts, worked on a new album and finished second in the Norwegian five-piece qualifiers. The qualifiers were Rybak’s third. In 2009 he won, in 2018 he finished fifteenth and this year second. He won the qualifiers and will represent Norway in the fives this year Jonas Lovv.
