Ronaldinho founded the label “Tu Música” and is planning a World Cup album in 2026. The ex-footballer wants to make Latin America visible globally.

Football legend Ronaldinho is now entering the music business. The Brazilian footballer announced on Monday (March 30) that he was starting a label. Under the name “Tu Música” he wants to create a platform for the creation and distribution of music.

Ronaldinho announced: “Music has always been an important part of my life. It has been with me in the most important moments, on and off the pitch. Now I want to bring that energy everywhere – connecting cultures and creating opportunities for artists from everywhere.”

World Cup album

The label will initially focus on Latin America and increase the region’s visibility there. Ronaldinho is also planning to release an album for the World Cup. The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026 in Mexico, Canada and the USA. For the LP, the athlete would like to bring musicians from different countries together. In the week starting April 6th, songwriters have the opportunity to submit their works and become part of the World Cup album.

After that, the footballer can also imagine expanding his vision further. The music label “Tu Música” is based in Miami. Ronaldinho founded it together with Roni Maltz Bin, the CEO of Sua Música Group, Allan Jesus, the CEO of ASJ, and Roberto de Assis, Ronaldinho’s brother and long-time manager.

Not the first approach to the music industry

By founding a label, the former professional footballer is taking another step into the entertainment industry. However, it is not his first approach to the music industry. The former FC Barcelona star footballer had already released an album in collaboration with Tropa do Bruxo, Rap In Cena and Analogic Records. “Bruxaria 051” mixes Brazilian funk with rap and trap.

There are over 40 guest appearances on the record. Ronaldinho personally selected the musicians for the album, developed the album concept and even recorded the opening track himself. He has already proven that he has the talent to set up musical projects.

It is not yet known when exactly his World Cup album will be released. However, there will probably be many new songs to sing along to at football games this summer.
