Guido den Aantrekker proposes to put Yvonne Coldeweijer in the Talpa canteen if the judge does not allow her contract to be terminated. “There is still a lot of work to be done there.”
Talpa stopped paying Yvonne Coldeweijer’s salary when the juice guzzler restarted her juice channel last month. She was actually going to make a daily juice program on Net5, but turned out to be impossible to work with. TV show or no TV show: Yvonne just wants to be paid for another year and a half. Nine tons in total.
Other work?
However, John de Mol doesn’t feel like doing that. The judge gave both parties the opportunity to reach an agreement, but that was not possible and therefore a verdict will be issued on April 9. The big question is: what will happen if the agreement has to continue, as agreed, until September 1, 2027? Will Yvonne do something different?
Shownieuws reporter Janine Schuinder wonders. “If she has to be paid, should she just do everything, so to speak? Also other work? That juice won’t come in any case,” she says at the desk of the show section on SBS 6.
‘In the canteen!’
Tooske Ragas doesn’t know how that works. “That depends on her contract and I don’t think we all saw that.”
Janine: “There might be plenty of nice things she can present here.”
Story boss Guido den Aantrekker does not seem to be interested in coming to Shownieuws. “Well, I just saw the kitchen in the canteen and there is quite a bit of work to be done there.”
It causes chuckles at the desk.
Speculations
Let’s first see what the judge says, says Tooske. “Then the decision will be made and then we can discuss any new work for Yvonne.”
In any case, Guido finds it striking that Yvonne has not accepted Talpa’s mega settlement proposal (one year’s salary plus €100,000). “So it means she probably thinks she’s going to win the case.”
