Current album and tour activities

The tenth studio album “I Beat Loneliness” was released in 2024. ROLLING STONE described the release as “post-grunge at its best with a strong nostalgia factor.”

“I Beat Loneliness”

Every new Bush album is a great thing because you get to remember songs like “Swallowed” and how much, as a young person in the ’90s, you celebrated this band as the British answer to Nirvana. But every new Bush album is also a disappointment because it makes you realize that things didn’t get any better after that. “I Beat Loneliness” is no exception.

Before he runs out of steam on the tenth album and mainly brittle ballads like “Don’t Be Afraid” or “Rebel With A Cause” lurk in the back, singer/songwriter Gavin Rossdale plays the martyr in pieces like “60 Ways To Forget People” or “I Am Here To Save Your Life”, tells electronically decorated songs like “I Beat Loneliness” or “Scars” to heavy guitars and something overweight Drums’ stories of suffering and works grimly and routinely on post-grunge dynamics. Not bad, but not really good either.
