Missy Bo Kearns shares sad news with the public – and chooses emotional words. She recently announced her pregnancy.
Serious personal blow for Missy Bo Kearns: The England international and her partner Liam Walsh have lost their unborn child. The 24-year-old announced this in an emotional post on Instagram.
“It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that we have lost our baby during pregnancy,” the Aston Villa midfielder wrote on her Instagram Story on Sunday. Only a few weeks ago it sounded completely different; Kearns and Walsh, who plays for Luton Town in the third English league, announced on March 1st that they were expecting a child.
“The past few weeks have been filled with a sadness that is difficult to describe, and we are still trying to come to terms with it,” Kearns continued. “Right now, our focus is on recovering from this blow and supporting each other.”
She concluded her post by saying, “We appreciate the love and support around us more than words could ever express.” Behind it, Kearns posted an emoji of a broken heart. Walsh shared the same message on his own Instagram Story.
Kearns has completed three international matches for the “Three Lionesses” and has been playing for Villa since 2024. The Liverpool native started her career at Liverpool FC and played for the “Reds” for six years before moving. Now, for tragic reasons, her sporting career is in the background for now.
