In 1971/72, FC Bayern, led by legends Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer, Paul Breitner, Franz Roth, Uli Hoeneß and Gerd Müller, set a Bundesliga record with 101 goals that was supposed to last forever. This “eternity” is likely to end soon and the German record champions will (significantly) beat their own record.
