Cabinet wants HBO graduates to also be able to become doctors: ‘Practice-oriented research is of great value’

Students will soon be able to obtain a doctorate degree not only at universities, but also at higher professional education. The government is presenting a bill that should make this possible. According to Minister Rianne Letschert (Education), it is a ‘missing piece of the puzzle’ that practice-oriented research does not yet receive the same recognition as academic research.
