Hannah Montana celebrated its 20th anniversary this week with a brand new special on Disney+ that brought together Miley Cyrus and others for a nostalgic look back at the Disney Channel series. While the special had plenty of surprises in store – including a new song and cameo appearances from celebrity guests – The hype surrounding the anniversary also triggered a new wave of demand for the show’s popular soundtracks.
Hannah Montana spawned a total of five studio albums, including the soundtrack to Hannah Montana: The Movie. There was also “Best of Both Worlds Concert”, a live album on which Cyrus can be heard both in the role of Hannah and under her own name. All albums were originally released on CD, later vinyl pressings followed. Three of the albums debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, and all were later certified gold or higher by the RIAA.
Several albums have now returned to the bestseller lists: four “Hannah Montana” LPs are currently in the top ten of the Amazon soundtrack charts. Hannah Montana [Green Splatter LP]
This Hannah Montana vinyl record has returned to the top ten on Amazon’s overall soundtrack chart. It is the soundtrack to the first season of the Disney Channel series in an Amazon-exclusive “Green Splatter” colorway. The original soundtrack was released in October 2006; this vinyl version was released last January, just before the show’s 20th anniversary.
Best Of Hannah Montana [Clear LP]
Amazon’s bestseller is this “Best Of” LP, which is released in an exclusive, limited purple vinyl colorway. The album was first released in 2011 and was released as a vinyl pressing in 2019. As part of the 20th anniversary special, the LP has returned to number one on the Amazon Disney soundtrack charts.
Hannah Montana: The Movie, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack [Lavender Eco-Mix 2 LP]
This double LP set contains all the songs from “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” which was released in theaters in 2009. The tracklist includes hits from the original film such as “The Climb,” “Butterfly Fly Away,” and “Hoedown Throwdown,” as well as 2009’s “Movie Mix” from “The Best of Both Worlds.” The plates come in a lavender tone, which is based on the colors of the series logo.
Hannah Montana 2 [Color Splatter LP]
This LP collects songs from the second season of the Disney Channel series, including hits like “We Got the Party,” “Nobody’s Perfect” and “Life’s What You Make It.” It is available on Amazon on a special “color splatter” vinyl.

Meanwhile, Urban Outfitters has the season three soundtrack of “Hannah Montana” available as a tie-dye edition on vinyl. The LP from Walt Disney Records offers 14 songs on a seventies-style disc.
